Lottery Privatization
A Perspective
The privatization of lotteries has been a topic that we have had our eyes on ever since it was initially proposed in Illinois last year by the governor. As the number of states interested in the topic is appearing to grow, we wanted/needed to maintain a pulse on Joes' and Jacks' opinions on this key issue that could/would affect their attitudes and play behavior. We've started to gather data on the subject and will continue to keep a close eye on this subject. Our initial thoughts are detailed below and have been captured by the media as well.
